The Ultimate Refuge - Our True Reality / Ground / U2T
I take refuge in the inseparable three Jewels / roots: in the inseparable
1) Buddha / guru / pure non-dual mind / pure non-dual subject / Dharmakaya,
2) Dharma / yidam / pure non-dual speech / pure non-dual relation or action / Sambhogakaya, and
3) Sangha / protectors or dakini / pure non-dual body / pure non-dual objects / Nirmanakaya.
Union of the three Jewels [U3J].
I take refuge in the inseparable three Gates / Vajras: in the equality/non-duality/oneness / purity / perfection / divinity of the inseparable body, speech, and mind (pure or impure). Union of the three vajras [U3V].
I take refuge in the inseparable three Spheres: in the equality/non-duality/oneness / purity / perfection / divinity of the inseparable subject / mind, relation / action, object / phenomena (pure or impure). Union of the three spheres [U3S].
I take refuge in the equality/non-duality/oneness / purity / perfection / divinity of all dharmas (physical, conceptual, mental) x (individual, collective, cosmic) x (past, present, future ) x (pure, impure).
I take refuge in the equality/non-duality/oneness / purity / perfection / divinity of the inseparable primordial awareness, spontaneous enlightened activities / relations / qualities, and Pure Land. Union Primordial awareness <==> Enlightened activity <==> Pure land.
I take refuge in the inconceivable true nature & dynamic of Reality as it is here & now, in direct perception / experience.
I take refuge in the inconceivable unique self-arisen unchanging timeless spaceless limitless pristine Ground & its inseparable display -- pure or impure --, Reality, Suchness, Thusness, Buddha-nature, Genuine-emptiness, Primordial awareness, Dharmadhatu, Trikaya. Union Ground <==> display / manifestations / appearances.
I take refuge in the inseparable three qualities of the Ground: in the inseparable
1) spontaneously present nature of the Ground - lhun sgrub - conventionally dependently co-arisen relatively functional impermanent appearances / cognizance / clarity / Nirmanakaya (1st truth),
2) pure essence of the Ground - emptiness of inherent existence - kadak / Dharmakaya (2nd truth), and
3) all-pervasive and unobstructed dynamism / compassionate energy of the Ground - thugs rje / Sambhogakaya - Inseparability / Union of the Two Truths free from all extremes & middle.
Union essence <==> dynamism <==> nature of the Ground.
I take refuge in the inseparable three kayas: in the inseparable
1) Dharmakaya / pure mind / essence,
2) Sambhogakaya / pure speech / compassionate energy,
3) Nirmanakaya / pure / nature body of everything.
Trikaya, Svabhavikakaya, Vajrakaya, Abhisambodhikaya.

I take refuge in the inconceivable Union of the Two Truths [U2T] about all dharmas:
Union of being conventionally dependently co-arisen relatively functional impermanent appearances (1st truth) <==> and being emptiness of inherent existence (2nd truth). One truth implies the other (<==>).)

Nothing to accept / affirm / seek / do / add in absolute terms, nothing to reject / negate / abandon / not-do / subtract in absolute terms, just conventionally / relatively / inter-subjectively if it helps someone to get close to the inconceivable liberating Truth. Union of opposites [Uopp]. Union samsara <==> nirvana.
I take refuge in the View, Path (meditation, conduct), Fruition of Madhyamaka, Mahamudra, Dzogchen …
Union View / Ground <==> Path / Methods <==> Fruition / Buddhahood.
View: Union of the Two Truths;
Path: Union method <==> wisdom / emptiness;
Meditation: Union samatha <==> vipashyana;
Conduct: Union action <==> wisdom / emptiness;
Fruition: Union perfected virtues like compassion <==> wisdom / emptiness.
I take refuge in the tetralemma logic -- in its deconstruction power leading to freedom from all extremes & middle: in not this, not non-this, not both/neither existence & non-existence, identity & difference, union & separation, duality & non-duality, permanence & impermanence, continuity & discontinuity, eternity & annihilation, subject & object, stillness & movement, action & non-action, thinking & non-thinking, conceptualisation & non-conceptualisation, discrimination & non-discrimination, conditioned & unconditioned, samsara & nirvana, emptiness & luminosity, the Ground and its displays -- pure or impure --, path and no-path. I take refuge in purifying / liberating / transcending through direct wisdom all of those apparent opposites. Union of the four extremes.
I take refuge in no inherently existing view / position / method / goal / deity / absolute / support. That is taking refuge without taking refuge. Not accepting … not rejecting … Using with wisdom.
